What to expect at your first Appointment

We aim to make your first visit to Moss Vale Podiatry as welcoming and helpful as possible. An initial appointment may be up to 45 minutes long, allowing our podiatrists to thoroughly examine and understand your needs while assessing your condition. This may involve:

  • Assessment of skin & nails
  • Neurological assessment
  • Vascular assessment
  • Biomechanical assessment
  • Gait analysis
  • Footwear assessment

To enable our podiatrists to make the best possible treatment plan for you, there are some things you should do to prepare for your first appointment with us:

  • Please arrive 5-10 mins before your scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork for your first visit. This form will help us identify what your presenting health concern is and enable our team to give you the best possible advice during and after your appointment.
  • Please bring with you any x-rays, gp referrals, enhanced primary healthcare forms or medical history relating to your visit.
  • Ensure you have your Medicare card, pensioner card (if applicable) or your private health insurance card with you. If you are concerned about how much your health insurer may cover, we recommend speaking to them directly as all health funds vary.
